Do you have a projector available at church to use for youth services but need to use your personal laptop. Then you realize you can’t afford the software loaded on the church computer. Then, http://openlp.org/ is for you. A friend of mine blogged about this one at MisterNifty.com with a great review. And, thought it would be a great one to pass along. I have just downloaded it and going through it, but so far it makes CENTS. Their website is full of support and trouble shooting and thats always helpful. Their are several other free programs out their but I am liking this one.

It took me just minutes to get a test site up and running. A website can be the central location for contact information, calendar and etc. Weebly is a simple free beginning. Your site will have a yoursite.weebly.com but it’s free. If you want to host the page on your current webspace you can do that to. It only takes a few minutes to get going and it gives you a place on the web to share about your youth program . Hey this site just make CENTS.

Youth Ministry is an important part of every church and at times the budget is well, could we say complicated. Lot’s to do and little to do it with. On top of that the majority of youth leaders serve as volunteer full time youth leaders. Which means a balancing acts of family, home, work and ministry. So, much to do and so little time. Youth Cent’s is committed to finding great resources to save you time and money. The internet is full of many great things, but who has the time to sort it all out. Well, we will attempt to share with you great resources that are free or cheap as we find them to save you the time. Check back every week and something new will be discovered to assist you.
